What is Botox?

At Prime Aesthetics, we are pleased to offer two brands of neuromodulators – Botox and Dysport. At the time of your consultation, your Expert Nurse Injector will determine which neuromodulator is best for your unique needs to achieve optimal results.
Neuromodulator Injections are Advanced Medical Treatments that should only be performed by trained Doctors and Expert Nurse Injectors in a fully accredited Medical Clinic. Treatment:
Roughly 15 - 20 minutes and no recovery time is needed. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief.
Post Treatment:
You may experience some mild redness, minor bruising, swelling, and a mild headache (rare). Strenuous exercise should be avoided for 4 hours after the injection, and treated areas should not be rubbed for 24 hours.
Results
Improvement will be seen within 2 weeks and will continue for up to a month. Results typically last 3 - 4 months.
Contraindications
Should not be administered to pregnant women, nursing mothers and individuals with muscle disease like myasthenia gravis.
